The market is just a 1km walk from Bondi Junction, public transport is also a great way to head to the market. Here are some of the local bus routes:

  • M40 Chatswood to Bondi Junction
  • 333 Circular Quay to North Bondi
  • 338 Central to Clovelly
  • 339 Gresham St to Clovelly
  • 357 Mascot to Bondi Junction
  • 389 Pyrmont to Bondi Junction
  • 440 Rozelle to Bondi Junction

DOG FRIENDLY? – Yes, however dogs must be on a leash and Centennial Parkland rules & regulations in regard to dogs must be followed. Please read the ‘Dogs in Centennial Park Brochure‘ for more information.


Visitors will find activities for the whole family promoting sustainability including up-cycling t-shirts, traditional aboriginal weaving and shelter building. All workshops are proudly organised by Centennial Park’s education team.

10am – 1pm Aboriginal Weaving

10am – 5pm Eco-ethical paper jewellery run by Little Blue Shed

10:30am – 4:30pm Shelter Building/Mud Kitchen

10:30am – 4:30pm Garden Chest (kids activity where they can search in the sand to find seeds and take home a seed kit)

10:30am – 4:30pm Bat Stall run by wildlife volunteers– make your own bat mask!

1pm – 5pm Make a bag with an old t-shirt (please bring along an old t-shirt if you would like to participate)

11am/12pm/1pm/2pm/3pm/4pm (always on the hour) – Guided swamp walks run by wildlife volunteers (begin at the bat stall)

We’ll also have a painted rocks (also called kindness rocks) hide and seek throughout the day, so don’t forget to bring your painted rocks with you to hide too!


Listen to live music from ‘Sydney Youth Orchestra’ & ukulele group ‘Uke East Big Band’ while browsing the stalls, having a bite to eat and enjoying the beautiful surrounds of Centennial Park.


We’ll have plenty of food trucks with delicious food on the day to keep your tummy full!
