We all know that photos are one of the most important factors when it comes to selling your handmade goods online. But we also know that taking DIY product photos can be challenging.
What are the best angles, how do you get the lighting right and how do you achieve that consistent white background?
Join us on Saturday 27 April at Hypmotive Hub to learn the answers to these questions, and more! Ben Townsend from BT Photography will be sharing his tips on taking awesome DIY product photos.
There will be 4 stations set up so you can try your hand at different styles of product photography:
- White background
- Textured background
- Flat lay
- Products on a person
All are welcome, however due to space restrictions, this workshop is best suited for small to medium sized products such as jewellery, ceramics, small prints etc.

- Your smartphone and/or a camera
- A small range of products that you would like to photograph
- Small props that suit your branding (optional)
